Zhejiang province made 27.9 billion yuan of embroidery machinery in the countries along the One Belt And One Road from January to August, up 7.2%, accounting for 85.1% of Zhejiang's embroidery machinery exports.

“In the past, countries along the One Belt And One Road, such as Bangladesh, Vietnam and Indonesia, have been buying Chinese embroidered cloth and returning to local processing. As costs of factors such as domestic Labour rise, companies in these countries have found it cheaper to import a multi-function embroidery machine and then process it locally, rather than directly importing cloth.” Luo xiaojun told reporters that over the past two years, foreign customers have purchased spinning machines that are changing rapidly, which changes from simpler models to high-speed, higher-value models, which makes domestic exporters gain more from higher-value products.

As Luo Xiaojun said, with the implementation of the "One Belt And One Road" strategy, Zhejiang enterprises continuously expand the national market of "One Belt And One Road", which not only effectively alleviate the adverse factors, such as domestic labor costs increase, also comply with labor-intensive, industries including textile, dyeing, embroidery to gradually shift to southeast Asia and other countries. The export of embroidery machinery is the "east wind" of the "One Belt And One Road" strategy, which has achieved rapid growth with the production capacity upgrading in these countries. Data also proved these countries growing demand for embroidery machinery, Zhejiang's exports to Bangladesh increased by 63.4%, and Indonesia's exports rose by 32.0%, and exports to Malaysia tripled in January-july this year.
